This gentle giant of a girl is approximately 4-5 years of age and has found her way to Carter’s so that we can help her find her best forever home.
Leony has had a very rough start in life. Her ears were cut off, she suffered trauma to her hind end which was never treated, and then left alone to die. Thankfully she was found by rescuers in China and it wass arranged that she come to us for evaluation and to help her find her forever home. Her hip/pelvis injury has long since healed and there is no further treatment recommended by our vets, except for perhaps a joint supplement. She is a Caucasian Shep, is magnificently fluffy and approximately 110 pounds.
Leony loves to run and play. She has lots of energy and loves to go for walks. Her leash manners could use a little work, but with love and patience, she will blossom into the best dog ever. She has many dog friends here in rescue, and we would recommend that she go to a home with a dog as she loves companionship. Because of her size we are recommending no small children in the home.
Leony’s adoption fee is $600. and includes her spay, up to date vaccinations and microchip.
