Charlie The Corgi

Hi there – Charlie The Corgi here, and I love my new name because I think it suits me so well.  You see, I was formerly known as A829702.  That is because I was found on the side of a busy road in a carrier with a broken back right leg.  Some wonderful people took me to the emergency vet and, let me tell you, it hurt like the dickens – I couldn’t even walk, and didn’t feel much like eating or drinking.  Thankfully these kind people just wanted to help me so I had to have an operation to fix my leg and make it feel soooo much better.  Strange thing, though, when the kind people were fixing my right back leg they noticed that I had a previous broken leg on the left side which had healed a bit, so they fixed that leg too.  I’m doing great now, and have found my way to Carter’s so they can help me find the perfect forever home.  I still have some activity restrictions, but am getting along very well.  I’m getting some stretching physiotherapy daily, and my new family will have to continue this until my back leg muscles are strong.  I should be able to become more active by the beginning of summer and really look forward to being able to go for longer walks and have a little play time with other pups.  Also, if I am adopted before the end of May I will require a follow up x-ray at the emergency vet in Toronto, just to make sure all is good.  I still need to get neutered, but that will happen before the end of May.

If you are interested in adopting Charlie The Corgi, please complete the adoption application.  Once the application has been received and reviewed a member of the team will be in touch to set up a meet and greet.

Charlie The Corgi’s adoption fee is $500. and includes his neuter, up to date vaccinations and micro-chip.
